Koha Aroha is Maori. Koha means: gift, present, offering, donation, contribution. Aroha means: affection, sympathy, charity, compassion, love, empathy. So Koha Aroha can be translated "To give with love". It's about making offerings, donations, contribution from your heart with love. This donation can be in different ways. It can be in the form of mental or physical support, it can be by giving money or any other materials which are helpful.

The Koha Aroha event gives a possibility for this in all respects. It is a place to give a Koha and the reason behind is to raise money which goes into a fundraising account. This money will be used to to keep the treasure of ancient wisdom alive and to support whoever needs support to continue sharing and teaching this special gifts of wisdom, love and healing.

All wisdom teacher on the Koha Aroha event give their Koha with their teachings and they do it very much from their heart. The wisdom teachers won’t get any money for it. In return, the money the participants give for the teachings is a Koha which goes full and directly into the fundraising account. Many friends are coming to offer their Koha by service, may it be to help in the organisation or to give healings and readings for the participanst of the event. Some friends donate art and other treasures to sell.

When all this comes together with all the empathy, love and charity it creates just an wonderful event for everybody. And it's for a good purpose.
